I am offended by the pronoun. Please use they/them.

This is now normal. Apparently.
Two entirely different questions, so he allowed to have two different conclusions.

Not to say he was very wrong to take us out.
We'd all not say that.
ah, it's no longer proper to say they/them, it has to be "we all", like a Russian election.
This has nothing to do with pronouns so why not stick to the question?
I’m offended by the definite article ;-)

And Gromit’s answer would be mine largely

So now Abers are refusing to answer questions if they consider that they are not posed grammatically to their liking – bizarre.
Remember that if Johnson was asked the same question this morning he may well give a different answer.
I answered your question - which in any case I consider largely rhetorical - by echoing Gromit’s
I opposed Johnson on Brexit but it would be bizarre if he now opposed Ukraine joining
That’s not background and I don’t think Johnson is right at all.
Brexit has nothing to do with the weapons supply.
EU countries such as the Baltic states and others have been doing their own thing on weapons. Nothing to do with the EU which is not a military alliance
It’s statements like that which let him down really
What's all this talk I hear of an EU army ?
What the EU is doing apart from sanctions and providing money is coordinating assistance such as military training. And the UK is doing its own training outside of that.
It all seems to work perfectly well
//It’s statements like that which let him down really //

I'm not so sure.

//He said: “I seriously think that it was in part because of Brexit that we were able to take a decision and to have an approach that was very distinct from the old EU approach, which was by the way all governed by the fabled Normandy Format which was agreed in Normandy in 2014.

“For reasons that are now obscure to me, the British government decided they did not want to be involved in this. France and Germany led it, that was the EU framework.//

I think Ukraine's membership of the EU would be valuable asset to them, not least because they would be a net recipient.
To answer the question, we don't need the EU.

So why is joining the EU good for Ukraine but bad for the UK?
It's nonsense for him to suggest that the UK could not have, for example, have sent Nlaws to Ukraine because of the "fabled Normandy format"

What Johnson is great at is inspirational leadership and out of the box thinking, and he's rightly highly admired in Ukraine.
But stuff like that is just Brexit baggage around his neck.
Wish Boris would go and live in Ukraine.
I can just imagine him on the front line ,wearing his white Builders helmet , high vis vest and laptop tucked under his arm.
