There are those of us who could see the trouble that Johnson was getting the party into long ago. A few months ago I wrote my first ever letter to my MP warning him that, should Johnson still me PM at the next election, I would not be voting Tory. Yesterday evening a former work-colleague rang and I was telling him about the letter; he said he had written the same letter to his MP (different constituency). Unlike some people I can think of, I keep my word.
