The EU is looking to sink Oz, once and for all..., too much meddlin' in Taiwan, Samoa and Nauru.
AS an EU citizen you can travel, work and live in any of the EU member States.

Although you may need a passport to travel between countries, those with roads connecting the various countries are virtually devoid of any border control – allowing free flow of traffic between countries.
One thing for me is our health service. It has some problems of course but the care both Dave and I have had over the past few weeks is something we have never experienced in the UK. It's been fantastic.
Italians are currently living the dream of a rugby win and not being the most chaotic politics-wise for a change.
the French NHS is pretty good too....my sister and her OH having benefitted from it...excellent medical diagnostics and treatment, no emphasis on 'how much'.
I have some experience of the French health service, DT. Couldn't fault it. It really was superb.
Trouble is: people like New Judge don't care about anything but sovereignty - anything else is not what they voted for. They won't really explain what they voted for apart from the right of our govt to treat us as subjects whereas the EU treated us as citizens.

Yeah, so can I and have and will again.
The NHS were superb when I had my lung cancer scare. In fact all through my life, having my children, various illnesses, never a problem in England.
Roy; Is Hymie a EU citizen? And are you?
Question Author
I don't think I have ever praised the NHS money pit, gness.
Maybe we need to may much more taxes to fund it like in other European countries?

That's a whole lot of nonsense from Fatti
Someone having difficulty again dealing with facts. End of.

I seriously doubt Hymie has left his bedsit in Croydon for the past ten years.
No I'm not a EU citizen but I could have been if I so wished.
Here we had a great COVID response without the govt splurging billions of taxpayers money on dodgy companies or failed IT projects. I've had 5 vaccinations, which I could easily book on line at a time and date of my choosing. I also get my X-Ray and MRI results instantly. I can buy from any other EU country without worrying about duty. The government put funds in our bank accounts towards the cost of petrol and electricity.

Where is here?
I never said you did, Roy. You asked for "fantastic things" in the EU. I gave you one by comparing what I have experienced and am experiencing in the EU with what I experienced in the UK before and after Brexit.
From what I have heard today from different sources the UK is going to get even worse in terms of health care. Some of that is because of Brexit.
Being in the EU is benefiting our health care enormously.

Is von der Leyen still refusing to let you know what all the texts to Pfizer were about?
Oh dear. Another shooting yourself in the foot thread. Obviously not what the poster expected. Very sad.
