Maybe not here but the US system is rife with appeals, deals etc so I doubt the head honcho himself would be getting a stripey suntan any time soon.
The conviction alone would probably suffice for most.
Why couldn't they just have followed the Clinton model?

Nothing amiss there...nope.
Maybe she really does have it in for orange people?
It depends if there are criminal charges, which according to that story there likely will be.
If found guilty of those, then prison is a strong possibility.

Trump, when applying for loans, exaggerated the size of his assets. His apartment in Trump Tower, was independently valued at $80million. Trump claimed it was 3 times bigger than it actually was. He then valued it at $527m.
If true, that is fraud. When asked about this anomaly, Trump pleaded the fifth amendment, and did not offer an explanation.
There are over 200 other specific allegations of false statements to secure loans.
Instead of claiming a witch hunt and the AG is racist, he should properly refute the charges with evidence. So far he hasn’t.

Just because you may have broken the law does not prove Trump’s innocence.
