Oh no, this, for me at least, is awful news. She is a brilliant Queen and has served her country well, but like someone has said, she has deteriorated since she lost her dear husband. How very, very sad and how strange things will be without her around.

I fear the worst has also come to pass, and if not will do shortly. I hope that is not the case and she rallies. If it is the end, I hope her passing is/was without pain. A great great lady whose service to this country has been magnificent.

I think she's already died. The Royal Family will want a short period of mourning before making the announcement, probably tomorrow. Meeting two armpits in one day was just too much for her.
