A dolphin and her two young were trapped in the bay. Monitoring showed they were getting stressed so friends and relatives with advice from a couple of experts set out to rescue them.
Just heard that after much effort, swimming and corralling they were rescued and taken to the open ocean.
Mother was leaping for joy when she joined her two happy babies. :-)

We have new neighbours - 7 young cows have moved into the field next door and they are so friendly.
If we go out in the garden they pop over and say hello.

Cows are very friendly and intelligent animals and would make very good pets (albeit a bit big).

But of course the agribusiness lobby tries to keep it quiet in case people get upset about eating them (c/f dogs)

Our two visiting roe deer (disabled mum and fawn)are still coming and eating our garden! However they got onto our neighbours small field and had a great night consuming all his ripe and ready corgettes. Fortunately animal lovers too!!
