Still fiddling as all around him collapses into crises.

He certainly knows how to rub everyone’s nose in it, doesn’t he?
What on earth was this ridiculous 5th of September thing about, he’s been about as much use as a wicker canoe anyway so what was it all about, he could and should have gone immediately?
Each day that passes only helps the Tories opponents, surely?
Or is it his way at getting back at those who ‘plotted against him’ by ensuring the electorate are so fed up come the GE it’ll be a landslide?
I daresay he’s got an agenda!

gulliver: "But what we do know, is that come the G/E the new prime minister will not be a TORY. " - .....and still you won't back your own opinion!
But come September it won’t be Boris’s majority any more. It will be Liz Truss’s. We’ve yet to see her perform - but I don’t hold out any hope of her hanging on to it.

A curious fixation you have with another man’s sex life, fatticusinch. It seems to haunt your every waking moment. Quite unhealthy.
Naomi: I also find it curious that people go on about Johnson being an adulterer when half the Commons are and it's such an outdated phrase.
Indeed, Paigntonian, la Truss is no stranger to the straying herself.
;o)
Thankfully Truss’s adultery with fellow Conservative MP Mark Field is not an issue.
Oh my heavens! But you know all about it, gromit. I didn’t have a clue - and care even less . How funny! :o)
"We don't know when the next general election will be because parliament can, again, suspend the Fixed Term Parliaments Act."

That Act was repealed about six month ago.
paigntonian: "We don't know when the next general election will be because parliament can, again, suspend the Fixed Term Parliaments Act. " - well we can't be sure but it will almost certainly be April 2024, the FTPA was repealed in March this year.
I mean May 2024!

Nah, just gives one a sense of the character of a person who with a string of adulterous affairs even started one whilst his then wife was undergoing treatment for cancer. What a prince among men eh?

What’s unhealthy is your continual fawning for and defence of him, despite all his bilious character traits and behaviour.

Johnson parodies Samson though.
Issues about his hair aside, he brought down the temple himself, ensuring his own demise and that of the Phillistines.

History repeating eh? Lol.

long long history of this in British politics - preoccupation with sex in all parties
Melbourne ( Viscount silly, PM 1835-41) had Leddy Caroline Lamb as a wayward wife and whose career stalled until she had a spazzy ( prone to them, she was) and died.

Disraeli said of Lord Palmeston ( Pam) who fathered a child at 60 - dont spread it around, or there will be a landslide. Boris might have taken that one to heart

Lloyd George was known as the Old Goat

MacMillan lost power ( no not to his dong) after his prostate because the whole of England thought it was due to too much er kissing young ladies ( satyrism)
