Why didn't anyone else think of that? Perhaps we should send him to talk to Mr Putin.

//I think the Tory cowards thought that they couldn't win the next GE with Boris as leader. I think they were mistaken.//

Odd use of the word ‘cowards’ there for a group who knew that perpetual lying was not the done things and had to be stopped somehow.
As I said, that was even before the Pincher scandal!

They KNEW they wouldn’t win with him, that’s why they wanted rid asap.
They’re foolishly going to choose a Johnson clone from his cabinet, just to make doubly sure!
Well - we'll see. Even Churchill had a period in the wilderness!
Question Author
Best ignored, dave, He tries too hard.
It's possible to say many things that are correct, but also a bit foolish jno.

E.g - If Ukraine would just surrender, that would bring about a solution, so why on earth don't they?
That’s Naomi-speak for she doesn’t have the answers/comebacks to the facts, Davebro.
But you knew that already.

Churchill wasn’t removed for perpetual lying.
Johnson won’t be back and I reckon he’ll cease being an MP by the end of 2024, if that.
It’ll be too much like ‘work’ for him and the 1922 Committee will never allow him back as PM.
He’s still got a PSC to appear in front of yet too.
If I were him I wouldn't bother with the pygmies!
> Former Labour leader says sending weapons to Kyiv will not bring about a solution and the West must secure a peace deal

Well, that much is right. But sending weapons to Kyiv is not designed to bring about a solution, it's designed to buy time and, ultimately, produce a peace deal that's less favourable towards the murderous aggressor, compared to a situation in which weapons had not been supplied.
It is utterly amazing to me that Corbyn was supported by his shadow front bench and the same people now disown him. He's appalling and so are they.
davebro: Are you really comparing Corbyn with Churchill? If so you need to be sectioned.

I believe the reference was Johnson and Churchill. As I’ve already said Johnson won’t be coming back and will give up being an MP by 2024.
Being a hard-working backbencher won’t suit his narcissistic image, he’ll probably move to the States or maybe France to be near Dad.
At the current rate he might even get a plush pad in Odessa, c/o the Putin regime for services rendered.

Question Author
Paigntonian, Dave is talking about Boris - he’s just saying that Churchill came back and he thinks Boris will too.
Fat: Unlike the Lefties I think he got a lot right and a lot wrong. And why on earth should you be concerned about what he does with the rest of his life? He's flawed, as we all are, and I wish him all the best for a fruitful and happy life. The cardboard outrage is terribly tiresome.
Naomi: Yes. You're right. Apologies.
Question Author
No need to apologise. Just a mistake.

Lol, concerned? Just giving an opinion on what I reckon he’ll do, you’ll just continue the Party line.
Obviously there’ll be an affair some time in the next 2 years as well, or Young Carrie will jump ship now he’s no longer in the limelight and she’s leaving the flat.
That 24 year age gap will now dawn on her.
Anyway, what’s it to ya Tor…..sorry, Paigntonian?
Question Author
Just a reminder. This thread is about Corbyn and Ukraine.
He's very much yesterday's man. Why bring him up unless you want him to figure in the battles to come?
Corbyn/Ukraine, Johnson and Russians, it all gets a bit confusing doesn’t it when it’s difficult to tell who’s on which side?

Now are we taking Corbyn or Johnson?!?
Both equally damaging because of their stance with, for/against Russians!
Corbyn’s pathetic attempt to initially deny Russia were involved in the Salisbury Poisoning or Johnson’s attachment to Lord Lebedev and Churnukin’s wife?
