The present government appears to have gone from one argument to another scandal to another story to explain. Yes ,partly caused by the media. But i cannot remember in recent times a government so riven with divisions and who finally ditch the leader !.

As pointed out a above, its nothing new. What is new is the constant bashing of our lug holes by the MSM. They seem to do every topic to death with massive exaggerations - and not just politics.

Not caused by the media. If you want divisions look at Labour's Wilson, Callaghan, Foot, Kinnock, Smith, Blair, Corbyn, Starmer...

youngmafbog. I like to think of it as like fairground mirrors. You know it's you, but your head, or legs, are distorted. When it comes to politics that, at least to me, seems to be the case that that is how individuals are portrayed in the media - but a media fed by the individuals and Parties themselves.

The Media has always reported news, and also sometimes inflamed it. The Media has always been powerful.
Powerful but only because of the gullible who know what they want and where to get it.

Must dash, off to get the latest on the heatwave and see who's flaunting what.
leaders get ditched because it is time to go and er they wont ( depart)

so that really only leaves the recent - May Cameron Boris

Both Trump and Boris remind us how fragile our democracy is when you rely on the incumbent to do what the last one also did
