I agree - the usual saps have been completely taken in by the recycled rhetoric

we will give you a few bows and arrows and you can fight them on the beaches and have the crap shelled out of you....

and the usual suspects start screaming like beatles fans

The usual rubbish from the yellow bird.
Seriously, all the civil servants who work in the Home Office are 'tories'?! Horlicks. If you want the actual truth, rather than your spin on it, perhaps have a look at this 'Tory' family who have done more than most of us to help the refugees from Ukraine.https://news.sky.com/story/ukraine-war-former-housing-secretary-robert-jenrick-mp-is-first-to-take-in-family-of-ukrainian-refugees-12591356
Why forget the Churchillian speech, Canary? I thought you wanted us to support Ukraine?

They’ve employed a leading barrister? I wonder who’s funding that?
I believe this looks like a classic amateur Momentum tactic of "Oh, this news story sounds Anti-Tory, lets post it quick and lets hope nobody fact checks it, perhaps someone naive or mentally challenged will fall for it, and we'll get one extra vote for LIEbour." HOW PATHETIC.
The hapless Patel is a perennial failure.
She must have some dirt on Johnson, there is no other explanation of how she keeps her job while her department lurches from crisis to chaos.
Ukrainians need our help now, and Patel’s deliberate red tape, is shaming.
