What are you on about, YMF? I fully support the actions of the cops. where do i say otherwise? The 'scary' thing is the fact that this dipstick thought it necessary to go armed to the teeth to do a bit of petty theft.
It's America. He's probably armed all the time. It's his right apparently.

I would also add that, given the proximity of the other two officers and the civilian who came to help, a shot to the head was the only option. Miraculously the guy survived!

Well no, not necessarily.

The Right to Bear Arms definitely excludes citizens who have a history of criminal acts against the community or a person.
Firearms were on open sale in Walmart, Kissimmee, the last time I was there. And just up the road was a shop that sold only blades. Lots of them. All shapes and sizes, including throwing stars. That's the land of the free!
The deputy who was speaking to him at the start of the video gave him plenty of opportunities to leave the store using a calm voice.
If he had behaved civilly, left the store and then given the officer his details as requested none of this would have happened.
"Miraculously the guy survived! " - clearly plenty of empty space in his loaf.
