The big advantage Putin has at home is his control of the mainstream media.
It allows him to perpetuate quite outrageous lies about what he is doing. So most people do not see what us actually happening.
I don’t think his position is necessarily secure at all.
And now that the mask, such as it was, has not so much slipped as been cast off by this devil, then the glories can come off on our side too. He did indeed cross a Rubicon today.
Meanwhile Zelensky has ordered a full mobilisation. By far the worst is to come.

Yes it's irrelevant but I think it was a bit tongue in cheek. I can't see Russia having a royal family again. ;0). There will again be revolutions and blood spilling in Russia which may get rid of Putin in much the same way.
