To what utter depths will Boris and his Cabinet cronies sink to save their skins?

How are Boris etc involved here? It's the Met.
Diddly, It is the Met police asking for the delay not the government.Do you not read your own links?

If you can point me in the direction of the right wing BBC I'll take a look. I'm only familiar with the left wing BBC.
PP, leave me out of your stupid ramblings.

If you don't believe that Boris had more than a hand in the Met's latest "request" you are even more naive than I previously thought.
No morals, no values, and corrupt to the core. He is also inviting lawlessness in this country with his actions.
Diddly, if anyone is naive it is you with your unprovable conspiracy theories.
^^^ Unproven? Apologies to the Queen for parting, and pictures of parties in the garden.
Teapots, unproven refers to the OP, not the parties.Stick to the thread.
Now I'm one to attack Johnson if I can but I really cant see how you can pin htis on him.

More like gross incompetency from Dick of Dock Green, what did she think would happen?

Not that that is new, I really feel sorry for the boots on the ground officers who I am sure many will want to do a good job and have to live with her uselessness.
It's just the "Con Cronie Club " looking after each other again diddly,
and no doubt using the tax payers money while they are at it.
...............This is the norm for the crooked Con Party..............

Hahaha

I guess if you are to the left of Chairman Mao then yes it is.
Gulliver, it is well known that you cannot post links, but surely you can read them.If so read the ones above.
Danny, it really isnt worth the effort of pressing the keys on your keyboard.

It will be another 'woosh' moment.
I can read links also, it refers to parties. :0)
seems like only a couple of weeks since the Met was refusing to investigate the party people at all. Now it's suddenly decided it will, and it's ordering that the official inquiry be restricted.

And people find something odd about this? Just fancy.
Even Wee Jimmy Krankie reckons it stinks a bit :

'Murkier by the minute': Sturgeon alludes to suspicions over Met's intervention
Also in stark contrast to response from Keir Starmer are these new comments from SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon.
Like the Lib Dems, she alludes to concerns over the recent sequence of events surrounding the two partygate probes, saying the situation "gets murkier by the minute".
She does not level any accusations at the Met, preferring to imply Boris Johnson is responsible for the developments in the process that "aid" him - and "cause damage to the reputations of others - individuals or institutions - as long as he saves his own skin".

The whole thing is turning into a dark episode in British politics and makes parliament and public office look like a den of iniquity

Oh wait a minute……
Teapots, The links are not about the parties per se, they about the delays.
jno et al were moaning that plod should get involved the other week now they are moaning because they are getting involved. You can't have it both ways me old china!
