Hope you're feeling fine today Em.
Indeed the days do feel shorter when compared to my youthful times.
I'll start the mower soonish and give the place a haircut.
nothing on the agenda as such, can't bring myself just to go out for the sake of it, have no shopping to get, nor can i roam far and wide with dodgy knees.
how are you today?
Good evening to you both. I just finished watching The Great Escape for the 4th time...Well, there was nothing else on really. Nothing major on the agenda for tomorrow, just hanging around and probably do a lot of reading...Exciting, eh?
I do have to take a bunch of cardboard down to the recycling station in the basement, and on the way back check the mail. There might even be a cheque in the mail...Now that might be exciting:)
all our energy prices are going sky high, i have renegotiated a new contract with the electricity/gas supplier to pay the same as last month but have been warned that it's going to change during April which i am concerned about, and that it may go up again during the year.
in the movie Gladiator with Russell Crowe, he was in the arena where the chariots race around, and in one shot you can see an engine underneath the chariot, something not invented for another 2,000 or so years, strange things you notice......
as a single householder in a flat my energy bills were quite low, i don't have central heating, so to suddenly go from 30 a month to 40 was a surprise, and this is due to go up again, so could be paying 50 or more a month, a large chunk out of my SP.
