No they shouldn't be shot Canary. They should be locked up and denied treatment on the NHS for life.
If we were to start shooting idiots the place would be very noisy and slippery for quite a while.
I wish that article had gone into greater detail. I wonder what those would be visitors who shouted at staff thought was wrong with their hospitalised relatives?
5G?

17:27. Bloody fool. Heartbreaking for the family he left behind and the child who will never know their father.
I don't know about shot ... flogged in the village square might be okay, though.
Should be hung, drawn and quartered jno. Damn savages.
well, it's Christmas, Mozz
Goodwill to all men jno. Uness they're immigrants, trans, Muslims, lefties or whatever other group are being hated on today.
flogging would be best for trans people, save having to decide which prison they should go to.

Sorry, Canary, I have wandered off track a bit. No, I don't think shot, but visitors who assault staff ought to be charged as anyone else would be. What to do with patients who assault staff, I don't know. Presumably there's already some protocol ?
For Funks Sake you people make me laugh.
I'd guess that they're ushered to a safe space while someone organises a whip round then sent home in a taxi to fulminate and glower.
Glad someone's entertained at least.
patients assaulting medical staff, nurse says
It almost beggars belief that anyone working in the NHS or related places of work should be in fear of their personal safety - but sadly it's true, everyday of the year.

They should indeed be dealt with via the law.
Hmmm, " recalled a recent incident told to her a by a colleague " so second hand story with no evidence.

Dont get me wrong I have no time for NHS staff being abused, my wife often gets this when parents dont get what they want (she works for CAMHS). But second hand stories with no proof is not the way to go forward as it has been known for some NHS staff to interpret someone daring to disagree with them as being aggressive.

Capture the problems on CCTV then name and shame the scum that do it.
