Wolf Whistling To Be Made Illegal!?
Have just heard on the news on the radio that they are trying to make it illegal for a man to wolf whistle at a woman!! Apparently its ‘against a woman’s human rights’. Don’t think I’ve ever heard anything so stupid in my life! I would blush and take it as a compliment. Your thoughts??

So from that I guess men should never approach a woman (chat up) in case they feel uncomfortable. After all no one actually knows someone is uncomfortable unless they say.

Ymb, if you are making women feel uncomfortable by "chatting them up"- I'm impressed you managed to get a wife! :-)))
The difference is, say you are a women, your car breaks down and you end up walking alone, in the dark, some way home. If you heard wolf-whistles and/or comments... would you honestly smile and wave, or in real life, put your head down and walk a bit faster?
I've already said, there is context, times and places- but the point is, they neither know, nor care, whether you feel complimented, offended, or scared out of your wits. It's irrelevant.

This gives women the choice.
If they are happy to be ogled, wolf whistled, told to "cheer up", have upskirtt photos taken of them (etc) then they're free to carry on as normal.
For those who don't like this form of attention from strangers, there is now legal recourse.
Just think of this way - if you went round to your mate's house and commented on the attractiveness (or otherwise) of his wife and daughter, he might get a smack in the face.
