One of the reasons that England has done better this year is that they've been more of a team, standing up for each other, and less a collection of individuals as in the past. Nice to see so many people supporting their team, too. Obviously not Lee Anderson, poor chap, but I'm not sure that anybody will miss him ...

i've still no idea what they are hoping to achieve, since they started taking the knee black teenagers are still killing each other, a black man shot Sasha(blm) clearly the message isn't getting thru.
Will they take the knee in Qatar which has the death penalty for homosexuality and women can face 7 years in prison for having sex out of wedlock and at present over 6,500 migrants have died build the stadiums they will be playing in.
And when will they stop taking the knee, when what happens?

I'm sure you know why people take the knee. It's to highlight racial injustice and was prompted by the murder of George Floyd a couple of years ago. It's also a back reference to Martin Luther King.
Taking the knee doesn't have a reference to homosexuality - that was rainbow laces.
The problem with certain people is that if you protest at one thing they think that you have to protest against everything. It's their way to ensuring that no-one makes a stand (ironically) against anything.
It's okay to smile, nod and quietly ignore those people.

Just to add to my last post. Although I don't think it's done much good, that doesn't mean they should give up. Better to try and fail than to npt bother.

A friend of mine was called a "coconut" the other day, by her black hairdresser.
I think this is totally unnecessary and offensive, as is 'snowflake'.
The friend in question is black, adopted by white parents, so imagine how this made her feel?
I'm glad I wasn't there to witness what you yourself would call a 'racist attack'.
