Nails, I know you're dealing with your own grief right now, but it doesn't hurt anybody to show a little class on a obituary thread. Comparing The Duke of Edinburgh to a paedophile or to gangsters is quite frankly disgusting, and I'm no great supporter of the Royal Family.

I think it's a case of "If you've nothing nice to say, say nothing".

Just because he meant nothing to some it does not devalue the fact that he meant something to others or that others respected him.

Nailit, just because you despised him, I would ask that you respect the fact that others didn't. People recently offered their condolences to you on your recent sad bereavement for someone I doubt most knew.

Perhaps this is not the thread for an anti royal rant. A 94 year old lady just lost her husband of 73 years.
