The Home Office just isn't fit for purpose if it cannot deport illegals.

Now I suppose we have to pay to keep him in jail for 15+ years. I'm angry!
what i can't understand at all about this, is she went back to his flat willingly, you see from the footage no struggle, horrible which ever way you look at it. If he had been deported this wouldn't have happened -
He's here because of the determination of activists to show how clever they are in making life difficult for authorities in clear-cut cases.

I'm sure there'll also quite a bit of money to be made from keeping the appeals thing going past the point of reason.

Oh, and he's in effect black.

what?
roy, it was on the news, the footage shows him guiding her along to his place. I know that is not what you want to read, but its there on cctv.
perhaps if she hadn't she would be alive today... i am not making excuses for him, he should get the maximum term possible.
the HO doesn't seem to do its job, and no they don;t seem fit for purpose.
She doesn’t appear to be going willingly to me. He could have threatened her.
he says that she drank and took some substance, drugs??? whilst in the flat and died there.
He's a lying sack of *** who should be executed.
agreed, but we don't have the death penalty anymore.
I don't think when he was pestering her in the street he would have given any indication of his intentions, emmie. I agree with Zacs it looks to me he was cajoling her.

i have seen that footage a number of times, and it still looks like she went of her own accord. I hope they throw the book at him, but if he says he didn't kill her, how to prove he did. It could get him a lesser sentence.
by the photos it's hard to tell, he may have had a knife hidden, after all he did do to her body what he did, vile human being and what makes it worse is the dingy arrivals, how many are of similar mindset as this murderer, and yet nothing is done till a tragedy happens like this calious evil murder, illegal should not be allowed to come here let alone stay here for years while there cases are dealt with.
Why was he still here?

Probably because human rights lawyers earned a shed load of money to keep him here.

I hope they’re proud of themselves and are sleeping soundly in their beds whilst parents are grieving.
Deskdiary, i don't think they have a conscious, more like the next ferrari + des-res flat or house in spain or similar, human greed trumps life and death less it effects them.
Savage. Needs the rope not deporting.

He's here because of the right on liberal s and lawyers like Cherie Bliar who make a fortune off the back of appeals related usually to the HRA.

The HRA needs amending and bringing back into the UK.

I think in some other countries people like this - asylum application refused/maybe under appeal - would be kept in some sort of detention. Here we simply let them loose. No wonder economic migrants regard us as a soft touch!
