would seem they have lost their minds..
There had been reports of the 29 million doses being "hidden" at the Anagni plant, which allegedly had originally been destined for the UK.

so what gives i wonder?
No change there then!
does this mean a slow up with vaccinations in UK because the EU are playing silly beggars
It would appear so Emmie.

But none of this is any surprise to those of us who voted to leave, I just feel for the citizens of the countries who still subscribe to the EU this really is not the time for posturing. I'm sure if everyone sat down we could assist each other. That does mean thought the EU will have to admit it is wrong and I doubt that will happen any time soon.
so our programme of easing lockdown may get put back because of their posturing.
Boris is claiming not, but then if Boris told you it was raining you would go outside to check.
Boris will have to do some hard bargaining with the EU if we are to stop the rot of this vile virus
its hardly his fault though is it.
Not his fault at all. Just he has told so many porkies and moved goalposts so many times I simply dont believe anything he says anymore.

I see no reason for us to be delayed in opening up, the critical people will have been vaccinated and the 'Amazing' NHS 'saved. But when has logic applied to Boris & Co of late?
i don't think he's doing a bad job, he has his critics like you. but quite frankly rather him than SKS

I was watching Hardtalk last night and Steven Sackur was grilling Jean Claude Juncker about how badly Europe is handling this whole debacle and how fragmented the EU is not to mention Merkle publicly apologising for messing it all up.
The whole debacle makes Boris look rather good and you cannot argue with the figures in regards to how well the uk is doing in regards to the vaccination programme so if it is not good enough feel free to move to the continent.
Watch this then tell me the uk is getting it all wrong. Yes there have been mistakes but nobody has ever dealt with anything like this before

I hope too we dont delay it but if we need to so be it. But theres still a lot to be wary of
- we'll still get admissions to hospital from vaccinnated oldies/vunerables but hopefully less and less will die there
- half of ICU beds have been filled with younger patients. Most have not been vaccinnated yet.
Most have only had one jab so far. The second is important but supplys are slowing up.
- As lockdown s relaxed many oldies may still shield but its the younger unvaccinated ones that will be out and about alot more so it will be spread between them and maybe onto older relatives. The unvaccinnated are less likely to die but more will be in ICUs.
-long covid is an issue for younger unvaccinnated
-new variants are going to come in

Boris knows what thescientists are saying, We after get this right not take risks or we'll risk a 3rd wave especially if variants come in. Do it right and continue with vaccinnations rollout and by summer things should look brighter.

why would this be an issue if oldies have been vaccinated? are you saying the vaccination doesn't work if infection is transmitted by the young?
June 21st? is the last date for easing of lockdown, so summer time i guess, though this could all go belly up if we have another wave of covid. I hope not as this will be well over a year since it started
I’m baffled.
Who’s lost their minds?
Sky?
Astra Zeneca?
The EU
Italy?
I’m assuming/hoping there’s been a covert policy to deliberately overplay the threat at this stage to keep people following the rules for now.
stucki bot bot

Juncker WAS commission president til 2019
it is now the awful Ursula v d leyen

worth looking at
At least we're not still paying them.
