One thing I would seriously consider is stopping the sale of alcohol. Sorry to all the responsible drinkers but it is linked to a reduction in normal responsible behaviour, people get closer, more touchy feely, its the reason large groups are still gathering. It would need serious restriction and checks on the local stores with off licences as part of the...

We FaceTime each other regular and I asked her how she was , she's got a heavy cold 'that's all' at found it funny, good job I love her haha
No one comes over our threshold, Bobbi, especially now. My mobile hairdresser can't work now, but to be honest, we would of cancelled even if she could come. In our very rural district made up a a few small villages and hamlets our numbers have gone from 14 to 21 cases in 2 days.
i can't see any end to this virus, unless the rollout gets a move on, no matter how many hard decisions are made over our liberty - restrict us already to how many we can meet outside 1, which is a load of botox, as i don't see that when i have been out. Clusters of people getting together the other day in the local shopping centre, kids playing and hardly anyone wearing a mask -
you mean those with covid apc?
My mum and dad drove to my brother's earlier to take them some food. After quite a heated debate about why they should a) not be going there; and b) they can cook for themselves;, they walked out the door. Other than tying them to the couch there wasn't anything I could do to stop them going :o(

As my daughter said " Those that aren't taking it seriously are the ones that are spreading it" she's right
Until those thoughtless, selfish, uncaring people realise they should wear a mask (properly over nose and down to over chin) whenever in public this virus and all mutants will not be under any sort of control. They are the ones who are spreading it and causing so much trouble and grief to so many others.
difficult to control them though but they need controlling/shaming/villifying in some way.

I look at them as being feral LJ, certainly the ones gathered outside of St Thomas's hospital were
i am not going to walk up to anyone and tell them off for not wearing a mask, i would be there all week for a start. too many people here in the capital to control i feel and lots not making an effort to socially distance.
the ones outside the hospital were stupid and thoughtless, and all types, ages, so cant just pin it on the youngsters as some seem to do.
Too little too late as usual from blundering Boris.
Bobbi - you are so right but I'd bet they would be the first ones to scream for attention if they were ill. Maybe there should be a register so they can be ignored if they are ill and others treated first or no medic going near them and just saying 'no you're not ill. it is all a hoax.'
As long as I can still walk my dog and go shopping to the supermarket, I'm not bothered. Just wish to God it was all over now (like everyone).
Yes Emmie, those with Covid. And the population is very low in our area and 21 has now pushed it into above average Covid cases in the country (My new phone has the app and it tells you the numbers in your area). I am now wondering who these people are!
you can't discriminate as to who might get ill, doctors are there to help, cure, heal the sick not to pass judgement, no more can they on those who end up in A&E through drinking too much or those who have cancer through perhaps smoking.
i only know two who have it and both are abers. I know that London has a high rate of infection, though i don;t know the figures, -
