the right on brigade will have a field day, no pun intended with that one Naomi.
Naomi, would u give 'em an electric hook up?

(to the tent I mean) ;-)
//Left in a field they'll abscond and dissappear into society in a flash. //

Are they literally confined to barracks, OG? Imprisoned? I thought they were free to go out.
no the answer is to ship them straight out, it's not right that this country gets dumped on like this, i don't suppose Greece much likes it either, or poor Italy
I'd hope not. Otherwise what's the point of catching illegals ? Only now it occurs they may be there just waiting for handouts. Surely not it can't be that bad.
Well, if they're not imprisoned, OG, they can hop it anyway ... if they want to.... so no reason not to give them a tent in a field to live in.
they then head for the capital and disappear into the arms of God knows who, criminal gangs perhaps
Not just London, emmie.
many do because they can disappear at will, large immigrant communities here as you know.
Manchester perhaps, Liverpool, any large city i guess.
I don't understand the problem. If you are in this country illegally surely it is axiomatic that you be deported, no questions asked.
there are an army of doo gooders who will block their extradition at the drop of a hat, they know their rights so it would seem.
i happen to agree with you jack
The migrants(scripted by the usual agitators) said that the camp was “not intended for asylum seekers and refugees” and that their “large number” was preventing social distancing. Plus “facilities like showers and toilets are far away, and we need to walk long distances in the rain and stormy weather to reach them. We wait for a long time in line to get meals in the rain, and there is a lack of access to health care."

No kiddin. These chancers of course walked across Europe to get here, crammed into boats to cross the channel and slept in the open in France waiting to stow away or buy passage with the people smugglers. They are allowed out of the facility between 10am and 10pm. Activists have protested before that migrants living in the Welsh base were deserving of a more luxurious living standard, having claimed in September that their living arrangements were “degrading” — despite the conditions being hitherto suitable for serving soldiers. Soldiers who did not have the right to complain about having to share rooms, waiting to eat, or walking to the bogs in the rain, and had to perform work duties on top of it. Maybe they should all enrol in school like this one. He is "only 14" (in each leg)

""Ashaenafi Fita was reported as missing from Monmouth on Sunday, November 8 and officers are growing concerned for his welfare.
He is described as being 5ft7, of medium build with short brown hair and brown eyes.""

What kind of barracks are these? I was in the RAF 50 years ago and we didn't have to walk to the baths or the bogs in the rain; everything was indoors. You might get a bit wet going from the barracks to the mess, but there was certainly no queueing in the rain.
The RAF jackdaw33 always had things better than the Army or the Royal Marines. They were the elite, or so they told me;)
Ashaenafi Fita was last seen working in a cardiff car wash.
Ain't no place to be if you plan on being a star.
These people are asylum seekers, not 'illegals'.
They are illegal immigrants, they didn't come into the country legally. I can't believe they are allowed out, how can anyone guarantee they will return?
I also am having difficulty in believing the missing person is only 14, looks a lot older.
