No. I had mine on since Tuesday of this week.
Been on a week at least.
mine is on a thermostat. it came on one of the days in august!
I gave in yesterday.
Been baking so the oven has warmed the place up but I've finished now so we'll see. Might just fill a hottle bottle later if it gets chilly. Sun was thing here at lunchtime.

.....and it's all working - just had to bleed the bedroom radiator
its not on here because (sigh) the tortoises are in the spare room because there was no room for us in the passing Ark. They should be running down ready to hibernate so I can't heat the whole house. Even if I turn off the heat in the room they are in, warmth from the adjoing rooms warms them too much. Instead I have got a fake stove in the living room which is a convector heater and keeps me and the dog cosy.
I wouldn't have it on yet, but it's not up to me. I just pay the bills.

Ha ha yes - women turn it up......men turn it down
Mines on. The cat is loving it.
Mines been on for a week. I try to turn it down during the day but not always successful.
Mines been on...just a bit since last week. I had to have my boiler repaired, and fully expected to hear the plumber say it wasn't worth doing and it was a goner. Instead, he told me it has a good 3-5 years in it. Yay! So, yes I'm using it!
Obviously an unqualified impostor, have it checked by a national utility company for a definitive answer. :-)
Yep! As Spike Milligan so rightly put it: "Och aye, och nose, och mouth - brrrrr! och tober"
Mines on a thermostat so just comes on if it goes below 20. It turned on one day in August too!
I put mine on a few days ago. Only because we're making wine and the temperature was too low for the yeast to work.
Brainiac, in my house it’s me (the woman) who turns it down. Husband always turns it up.
Unless it’s absolutely freezing I wouldn’t have the heating on at all. Put a jumper on!
I have Yorkshire blood. Can you tell? :)
I'm with cloverjo. Not Yorkshire but wouldn't dream of putting heating on until at least end Nov. Only just out of t-shirts. Been a lovely hot summer here and still fairly mild except for the wind.
It's wet, windy and cold here. Our heating has just been turned on.
Mines been on a week too, can't really afford it but the place feels very much colder with just me in it. Still using thick jumpers hot water bottle and blanket in the evening. No one in flat below so that makes a big difference. Never felt the cold at all until recently now I can't get warm at all.
