I don’t know how much compensation Lissie may receive for the loss of her husband in such appalling circumstances - not that any amount will really compensate - but spending money on low-lives like these people sticks in the craw a bit. Yes, I know … they're 'entitled'.

I just hope they have a bad time in prison.

The death penalty was a good idea for scum like this.
The liberal are getting the justice they think this trio are entitled to so some understanding that the majority are infuriated at this scum and want to say so should be forthcoming. The whole thing absolutely stinks - you'd have to be a moron to believe you could drive a car and not know you were dragging something of weight behind you. I gather they are also using a fellow inmate to write a book about their story (as they can't read or write) for them. As per the Shawshank Redemption - these three will NEVER be rehabilitated.
Appealing your sentence may come back to bite them in the posterior as the judge might deem it insufficient and increase it.

^One can but hope.
"no intention to injure"

Same in Harry Dunn's case of RTA with USA woman. Yet the Cps are demanding a prosecution.

All accidents are unintentional!
Question Author
Tamborine, dragging him for more than a mile was no accident.
naomi, yes tho PP says no intention to injure could acquit them. PP is a legal beagle?
PP. My answer expressed my disgust

Better to say nothing than gabble on and on and on ad infinitum........

//PP is a legal beagle?//

No, he isn't, tamborine.
They met the criteria for legal aid.
£465k. That'll be a nice deposit on another £m house for Cherie Blair QC.
//They met the criteria for legal aid//
i know Martin, i'm just confused as to why three worthless pieces of humanity are entitled to half a million quid's worth of legal aid

Lets hope that they meet the criteria for 24 hour a day isolation, but I dare say there will be some jerk looking out for their mental health welfare.
One of those rare occasions I agree with jim.
"£465k. That'll be a nice deposit on another £m house for Cherie Blair QC."

Is she or her firm involved with any of them?
@13.41.So you are a Blairite now, loonie.I had always thought you were one of the Corbyn eejits.
My grandson was told he would not be entitled to legal aid to defend himself against a totally fabricated accusation. Where is the fairness, where is justice? In a barristers back pocket. I shall not weep to leave this blasted earth.
Thankfully nobody has mentioned their yuman rights.
The murderers involved in this case are obviously scumbags.

But let's face it, the reason the bill to the taxpayer is so expensive is not because there's anything wrong with the legal aid system, it's because the legal profession has charged so much for their 'services'.
