Two months ago he got burnt leaning over the gas hob to light a fag. He spent some time in the burns unit at Wythenshawe, two skin grafts. Then transferred to another hospital. He has now been transferred to a neurological unit at another hospital.

He was 80 last week and seems to have dementia, I shop for his wife daily, she is 81 and housebound.

I have sorned his car, got them a tax refund and cancelled the car insurance.

The local garage where he purchased the car will collect it later and sell it for them.

There is always someone worse off than yourself, look after any elderly neighbours you may have.

Well done Sparks.
Very kind.
I was wondering how he was doing. Mrs neighbour will value your support and friendship more than she can say.
How sad. They do say those with dementia are not aware of danger.
Poor soul, good neighbours are especially important during difficult times.
