I did ask a good few days back whether the Government's decision to lower the social distancing guidelines would lead to some believing it to signal that things were almost 'back to normal'. If it is at all possible, the beaches should be CLOSED!

not whilst there's morons flouting advice, they need to close all beauty spots till this is under control, I feel so sorry for the locals of Bournemouth, Devon and Cornwall and those in other beauty spots around the country
That's not really practical, is it.
That was to ILM.
Question Author
why isn't it practical Zac?
No idea, I said 'if at all possible'.
We are of a like mind anyway Bobbi.

Do you have any of that barbed-wire left over from WW2?
Maybe the beaches could remain open, if there were people to enforce social distancing and implement, say, a one-out-one-in policy like they're doing at most supermarkets - i.e. have a maximum number of people on the beach at any given time.
How would you close a beach off, Bobbi?
> ellipses, this is not a race related thread, it's a 'anyone who acts selfishly ' one

I'd like to think so, Bobbi, but retrocop's answer seemed to focus on race and I was trying to give him an opportunity to clarify.
Sorry, that should be 'how would you close a beach off securely?'
Question Author
police patrolling them and issuing fines to those flouting the law maybe?
There aren't nearly enough police to do this, Bobbi. Perople would just migrate to more remote beaches even if it were possible.
Question Author
basically you can't 'close a beach' I get that but you can make it than anyone driving miles to get there, faces a fine, although they'll still be clever rholes thinking it's a game I suppose
Make the fine massive!
Indeed. Humans have free will. Free will coupled with ignorance has pretty dire consequences as we've seen.

Just to be clear my focus is on anyone who acts in an antisocial manner, flouts the guidelines to prevent the spread of this virus. Whatever colour they may be they are selfish, ignorant morons. They are not helping the NHS,those more vulnerable to the virus and the eventual safe parameters to be lifted whereby it is safe to go out one's business without the protective measures for personal safety that is currently required. Illegal rave goers and those who are dumb enough to close the roads and sit cheek by jowl on Bournemouth or any other public. beach are of the same ilk. Hope that is cleas ellipses.
Numbers game he is right
