Chaos and a car crash. Tories begin to think Boris has lost his Vim, (not that he ever had any} .
Missteps , U turns, and fears for Boris,s health, leave senior Party members openly muttering he will have to go.
When summoned in front of the 1922 Committee he was warned about Walling himself from the Party.
Throw Cummings into the mix , and he will have to go before the next G/E. I hope he does not go, because he will be an Asset to Labour .

Not sure about 40 years either.
Though Boris’ 365 seat landslide in December was impressive, Blair got 418 seats in 1997 and 413 In 2001.
Not sure you can argue those weren’t proper wins.
Well at least I have a brain lol
Now what about you and the Jewish people ???

Gulliver’s offensive post is now deleted.
He doesn’t offend me ,I feel sorry for him , his obsessive behaviour is weird , I think he needs help,

You are being abusive.
Show more respect to your fellow ABers, or more posts of your posts will be deleted.

Bobbisox if you can not take the insults , then do not give them out,
'Champagne socialist' means, I presume, a socialist who is well off. 'Champagne conservative' means, I presume, a conservative who is well off. What's the difference apart from the presumption that a socialist wants to improve life for the less well of, and a conservative wants to improve life for the better off?
No one should be dishing out insults, if you can't behave then log out before you get removed.

Gromit 18.40, when the Majority on the news section on a/b who are 99% Tory.
Show a little respect for me, then I will show respect for them OK.
I’m not insulting you , merely saying it as it is
You have an unhealthy obsessive persona which doesn’t add up , where on here have I insulted you ?
Mamy, I've noticed that you are becoming more outspoken. But still a force for reasonableness; a valuable member of the AB community.
Gulliver1
You won’t gain any respect by dishing out insults willy nilly. You need to chillout. Take a break for a couple of hours to calm down.
Blair’s impressive win was because he successfully repositioned Labour to the right and was Tory light.

He didn’t lead a proper Labour Government.

The last proper Labour Government was in the 70s, which didn’t end too well.

Blair did pretty well, until he decided to kill lots of innocent people in an illegal war.
Deskdiary

I cannot disagree with any of that.
But I would add Wilson was up against Heath, and that Government didn’t end well either. The 70s were really awful.
The last ‘proper’ Labour opposition that tried to win power was Corbyn’s, and they were convincingly rejected.
Question Author
No matter what the radicalised say, Boris will not last the full term.
DD
// The last ‘proper’ Labour opposition was Corbyn’s //

It could be argued that most of the Labour MPs seeking re-election were Blairites, that were not really behind their leader.
gulliver1

Prime Ministers with massive majorities have a habit of surviving. I think wishful thinking has overtaken your rational thought.
