according to the BBC news the flypast has taken off, a Spitfire and a Hurricane which will fly three times around the home town of Captain Tom in Bedfordshire.

Why do they keep saying 30 million when, if you scroll right down his page, it shows the gift aid contribution which I believe is over and above that.

Crapat, the current figure is £30,411,017 and rising. The link says 'topped £30m' which is correct, if they had given the actual figure at the time it would now be wrong, as the total is constantly rising.
