Repeat Prescriptions

Does anyone know how to go about getting a repeat prescription?
I usually get an 8 week cycle of medication, the rules changed just before the corona virus broke, i'm 72 and don't know if my doctors is open to ask, or my pharmacy, i've tried phoning doctor but there is no answer, I suppose because they are busy.

I try an keep in front with my partners scripts, but she fills in repeat prescription forms, we have got a bit behind with repeats, but got enough meds for another week, I put in repeat request posted in relevant box at Doctoors and hopefully will be ready for collection from Pharmacy on Wednesday.
