I don’t think the Earth has a brain to think ‘I need to punish these people.’ C rap happens sometimes. We’re going through one of those times. Fergie is probably in a lot more comfort than most of us so I’m not going to worry too much about what she says.

Well done Mamy.
Does it not get a bit boring being so clever?
So self righteous?so condescending?
So much like mother Theresa you could be related?
Question Author
I don't consider myself any of the above and any comparison to Mother Teresa makes me shudder.

I was joining in with a fun conversation but if you now feel better for having a go at me then that's good.

Mamy it was meant as a compliment to you,
As this is .https://youtu.be/IEzfhclKO8Q

Self righteous, condescending and like Mother Teresa are not in the east bit complimentary to me.

In a way she is right. If the Chinese didn’t class wildlife as a natural resource then it is unlikely that the virus would have transmitted to the other animal (can’t remember its name) then onto humans.

Nature didn’t, as far as I know, do it on purposed but it wouldn’t have happened without direct human interference.
LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME
I am secretly giving actin of peas to my neighbour but waiting for the press to turn up so I can do it in secret.g
Yes Mamyalynne, I doubt I would consider those words 'complimentary' either!
Nor me.
Defo not.
In a sense, nature does tend to feed back and cope with problems. Luckily. It's the Gaia theory. But not by intent, just the working system that by chance, it seems, managed to evolve here somehow, and support the present chaos. I guess everything works out in the end. After all Mars managed to get rid of all it's pesky lifeforms millennia ago.
OG, I don't think the original post implies intent. "Nature's way of punishing us" can be as impersonal as nature's way of making flowers grow with sun and rain. It may be punishment from our point of view but not nature's.
//"Nature's way of punishing us"//

... assumes that nature thinks and plots. It doesn't.

The woman is an idiot - if I'm being indulgent, a likeable one - but an idiot nonetheless.
There's a lot of it about.
The Yuchess Of Dork should not be dismissed lightly.
She is an academic and accomplished author, having written a study on the metamorphosis of a bird and a machine, "Budgie The Helicopter."
This demonstrates her powers of observation of the natural and mechanical symbiosis, which she used as the central theme of her illustrative novel.
Her scholarship must therefore be taken seriously, and her views must carry weight within the scientific community and academia generally.
My opinions were not influenced by Mother Theresa, but certainly by a far better sage, namely, Jiminy.
Who is she !!, she is the mother of two princess's, her daughters
grandmother is HM the Queen, she was married to Prince Andrew
who is the SON of HM the Queen.

Must admit I first thought of Alex Ferguson (lol)
