Quite sad really. He's still at the club in some non-executive role, and bad-mouthing ex-players and current players like Shrek, will not help Moyes. Still, great fun to watch it slowly fall apart. And before any plastic mancs start accusing me of jealousy, wake up and smell the coffee!

If you read what Fergie said he is not a top top player, picky I know but there is a subtle difference even SG said Paul Scholes was the best he had ever played with
Ferguson's selling a book isn't he?

So I have heard, ludwig.

Wonder if he mentions Fergie Time.
Fergies selling a book

He gets WH Smith to do that for him

As for Fergie time are you saying refs and fourth officials are cheats?
Agree with you Ludwig. You can write anything you like as long as its an opinion or your version of events and thus does not constitute libel.

All I am saying is More Manure From Fergie
..exactly, so there's always a few to 'controversial' things in these books to help sell them.

"Beckham changed when he fell in love"
"Gerrard's cr&p"
"Roy Keane's a scary nutter"

etc etc.
I'm just reading the book. I suggest you do too before posting based on a couple of lines in the Sun.
SAF about Gerrard, page 213

// We made a show for him in the transfer market, as did Chelsea, because the vibe was that he wanted to move from Anfield, but there seemed to be some restraining influence from people outside the club and it reached a dead end. //

If he wasn't rated as a top player, United would not have looked at him in the transfer market. Maybe SAF thought Gerrard was wasted at an under achieving club?

He is entitled to his opinion.

At present it is a free(ish) country, even if that does needle the left on this site.
there was an interview on the radio last night with Frank Lampard and they mentioned the book, and as was said without statements like this and any controverseyin it , the book would be a total fail...this is what sells the book

Frank just laughed off the stuff fergie said about him

Quite sad really. He's still at the club in some non-executive role, and bad-mouthing ex-players and current players like Shrek, will not help Moyes. Still, great fun to watch it slowly fall apart. And before any plastic mancs start accusing me of jealousy, wake up and smell the coffee!

Steve G is a very good player - just not in the same class as Paul Scholes
You have to be good to win a Champions League medal...

0 x Premier League
1  x UEFA Champions League
2 x FA Cup
3 x League Cup
2 x FA Community Shield
1 x UEFA Cup
2 x UEFA Super Cup

But you have to be very good to win 11 Premier League medals as well...

11 x Premier League
2 x UEFA Champions League
3 x FA Cup
2 x Football League Cup
5 x FA Community Shield
1 x Intercontinental Cup
1 x FIFA Club World Cup
Thanks for 'best answer' sir.prize. It just seems to me whenever anyone criticizes Manure, the typical arrogance surfaces and they refuse to recognize they just may be in trouble.
How many miles of front and back page coverage would Ferguson have got from a book praising everyone? He has a book to peddle and there's no publicity like bad publicity.
The Book will have limited appeal as it's already 1/2 Price in Smiths.
A lot of the Mancs can't read or write anyway, so a Pic of Grumpy in a Kilt blowing on a set of Bagpipes will suffice :-)
