In 5 years time I will still say we should not have left wonder will Boris the two Nigel’s Michael and Anne and others say we were right to leave . Hope they are right and I’m wrong .
It's interesting that you have made your mind up what your view will be in five years from now.
My view on the EU has changed over time - yours may do so as well.
I recall being pleased when we originally joined the EEC as it was then - time has ensured that what we joined is not what we are joined to now - hence my vote to leave it.
Time may well alter your view, but we will have to reconvene in 2025 and see.
It's not just how the EU might have changed that could affect people's views, Andy.
I predict that in 5 year's time the UK unemployment figures will have reached at least 2.5 million, and probably be nearer to 3 or 4 million (and rising), as a result of Brexit, with annual inflation running at above 5%. That might also colour people's views as to whether or not leaving the EU was good idea!
I do believe it will take at least 5 years to have any stable arrangement in place by then we should have a better picture but it’s an ever changing world and we should be working together not trying to see how we will get on without one another .
