It bears the inscription "Peace, prosperity and friendship with all nations" and the date of 31 January.

diddly, keep digging. You're bound to find more irrational scaremongering. After all, it's been manufactured consistently for the past three plus years so there's plenty of it about.

Emmie asked whether you will say you're wrong - if you're wrong? Will you?
seems pretty unlikely don't you think Naomi
Question Author
Yes I do, Emmie.
still one can only hope they see sense, her and Gulliver
They are bound to run out of sour grapes sometime.
Question Author
I don't care if they don't, Emmie. I'm not the one living under a cloud of gloom.
Well. I for one can’t wait to get my hands on that little beauty.
Heseltine, with his £300m, has personally done very well from the EU, so sod him.
I don't think the road marked 'Tory millions' is a road you want to travel, Theland, not unless the architects of our "salvation" are to be exposed as hypocritical, self interested shysters.
\\ I think it's nice Clarion. Don't you?\\

what a coin with - - "as time goes on, it gets smaller" on it? (*)

nice ? more eerily prophetic for me
(*) undoubtedly from Merlin ( the sword in the stone blah de blah) where Mwwerlin gets younger as time ticks on

very literary - for AB !
I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one, too. Due to the limited distribution, they could be worth a few hundred to collectors of such stuff.
// Emmie asked whether you will say you're wrong - if you're wrong? Will you?//
who is asking this: not the one who denied that the Dutch nationals were reclassified 1935 as Jood or Joodse and had identity cards wivva J on it? I think it might be

Holocaust Sunday today boys and girls
good sermon by Frankel on 'hope' R4
Ken, do you call three million coins a limited distribution?
I heard they were starting with 10 million and increasing to 30 million later on.

douglas, //not unless the architects of our "salvation" are to be exposed as hypocritical, self interested shysters. //

If Brexit is as detrimental as Remainers would have it, how can that be?
I should say, that's 10 million this year and a further increase next year.
My bad! As many a prominent person has been guilty of 'mis-speaking' I am guilty of 'mis-reading'. I had googled to see if there was any point in securing one of these commemorative coins but the article I was reading also mentioned those minted with the original leaving date of October on them, thereby making them an 'error' coin. Ergo, making them far more attractive than their face value. As it is, they will be worth just, er, 50p. So what's all the fuss about? :-/
Emmie and Naomi - I won't be wrong re the detrimental effects of Brexit.
One of those coins would make a nice medallion to be worn on a neck chain.
What, Theland. Swap the crucifix for a 50p piece? Blasphemy!!
