Wow. Shame about the Sun headline.
Amazing work, well done that Doctor.
Lucky for the 70 year old there was a quick thinking doctor on board. Just hope the old guy had imbibed some decent plonk before boarding the plane.
The selfless doc said after his life-saving heroics: “Saving lives is a doctor’s instinct.”

you aren't kidding....
Maybe AB could employ him full time for all those on here who say they’re PMSL?
I'm surprised that the airline couldn't supply the doctor with a straw. Once took a chap in agony from an over-full bladder to the docs in France and a small catheter was inserted, which solved the problem. I couldn't believe how much urine was in there!
It looks like a breathing mask tube which has been used in one picture.
All the French doctor did was to press gently and repeatedly on the bladder. This must have been a worse case.
Puts a new meaning on the phrase " taking the p??s. But, seriously, well done that doctor.

Am i the only one thinking I hope the guy didn't have a urine infection
Although the doctor did a great job, I'm wondering whether it really was such a critical emergency as that report makes out. I survived 11 days in agony (before finally calling an ambulance) when I couldn't urinate earlier this year. I also survived quite a few hours, in similar pain, when my catheter got blocked a couple of months ago.
Well done to the doctor.
Chris - I can't comment on your post without some derogatory comments about the male sex and medical treatment.
Well done, that doctor.
