Regaling the power of the Unions, what he'll do to companies like Amazon ?
All sounds very plausible but doesn’t he realise Maggie smashed the unions? They have no power anymore

they can bring the railways to a standstill even now, going on the fact that they have huge sway.
he said on last night's debate that i think it was 26% corporation tax, but that could be wrong, perhaps someone else was watching. I don't think i want to watch him any more, he gives me the willies.

Emmie I think workers awe worried about striking now , they worry about their futures ,left wing workers will readily ,maybe that’s what Corbyn wants?
Bobbie
could be, there have been planned strikes i think on the railways which may have been called off and a Postal strike which was deemed unlawful. This would have affected the whole of the Christmas period, causing misery for many...

He’s targeting students with empty promises of scrappy their fees, bringing the minimum wage up to £10 an hour
Votes for 16year olds ....he’s delusional
i think the Tories have the same ideas about minimum wage, going on what Boris said last night. 16 year olds shouldn't get the vote in my opinion.

Mine too, I think 16 is too young to understand exactly what you’d be voting forward
The man is such a joke, shouldn't it be Corbyn Live at the Apollo?

BigBad, I saw that when I write my question in the box, would be so apt
Wasn’t that long back when the bleedin heart brigade vehemently protested that Shamima Begum was ,at the age of 16, too young and immature to know what she was doing when she betrayed her country.
Now the idiots are saying 16 year olds are mature enough to get a vote. When it suits the politicians of course!
I'm shocked! Sez in my paper there have been 140 days of strikes on the railways in the last 3 years & some train drivers earn £60,000+ pa for a 4 day week.
"Regaling the power of the Unions"

Pretty sure you don't mean "regaling"

"Regarding, maybe?
"some train drivers earn £60,000"

Considering the numbers of people who entrust their lives to them every time they get on a train, I'd say they were underpaid!

So pleased you’re there keeping me right JimF
//Emmie I think workers awe worried about striking now , they worry about their futures...//

This lot cannot be that worried:

They plan to strike for 27 days in December. That's virtually all of the month except Thursday 12th (when, if I were the management, I'd tell them to stay out) and Christmas Day and Boxing Day (when few services run anyway).

Yes, it's quite true that train drivers earn in excess of £50k but:

//Considering the numbers of people who entrust their lives to them every time they get on a train, I'd say they were underpaid!//

That's not a good measure. To crash a train you have to be incredibly inept or incredibly unlucky. Yes, there's lots of things you need to know (as there are in many jobs) and each individual route has to be thoroughly learned. But their skills do not warrant the same pay as, say, a senior operating theatre sister.

Who?
that's guards at south western railway. a parallel action is currently being enacted every Saturday until the year end at west midlands trains. the reason for the dispute is the same, as it's been with other train companies, the attempt by management to introduce driver only operation. at west midlands trains, the effect has been practically no trains operating into Euston (although the company claimed an ability to run a reduced service), because non striking train staff are this time around refusing to cross picket lines. if SWR depots are picketed this time round, there would be virtually no service in much of surrey, Hampshire and points south-west.
If 16 and 17 year olds get to vote they should get to be named in court too
"To crash a train you have to be incredibly inept or incredibly unlucky."

Another thing you're an expert on?
