If you're like me and need the parties proposed policies in plain English then this guide maybe useful.

Apologies if this has already been posted.

With our current electoral system the question only needs to be considered by undecided voters in about 150 constituencies.

Well that would be me then. As I've said, I'm not that clued up and not ashamed to admit it either.

So apart from the buffoonery and gormlessness leading the 2 main parties I am relying on details of what their policies are. These are my views so I'm not stating on behalf of anyone else.
Very useful link, tigger. Thanks.
Tigger - don't set too much store by what they say in their manifestos as things often/usually turn out quite differently once in power.
Really? Shocking to hear that.

Indeed Diddlydo, most of these pledges are unrealistic and un-achievable. Where is the money coming from and how many billions, if not trillions, been wasted already on hot air.
Another thing to consider is whether you are a Remainer or a Brexiteer.
Indeed - if you want to remain in the EU do not vote for Boris.
And if you want to leave the EU do not vote for the LibDems.
I think I'm going to vote Norwegian.

yep, because that reply is sooooo mature
A lifelong Socialist, I can't vote Corbyn while that anti Semite and friend of terrorists is in charge.
Also, look at some on his front bench. He has no clue on choosing talent.

Maybe vote for the Birthday Party. Cake and candles for all.

prove that im wrong then !....
Vote Cornish Baptist! No controversies with them!

Brexit has no bearing on my reasons for voting. I didn't vote in the referendum. Neither is my vote influenced by Buffoon Boris or Commie Corbyn. Leaders come and go. Both the main parties have had their fair share in recent times. Whoever leads, the issues will always be there.
I'm struggling a bit. My M.P. is Tory with a VERY solid majority and t.b.h. he answers my emails and writes to me when needed (last query was about our action on Hong Kong), so he is a sensible and responsible M.P., O.K.. He is even a Brexiter, as am I. The Brexit Party won't be fielding a candidate (they won heavily here in the EU elections).

Why am I worrying? Because (3rd time of asking) he voted for May's interminable servitude arrangement..... I admit that so did JRM and a lot of others. I can't, honestly, see much difference between May's total capitulation and Boris's deal save that he sets an end date to our servitude. Can I trust him on that? The stakes are immense and the process will be painful and damaging - the EU could demand anything of us and we would have to comply.

I'm toying with voting for the 'Independence for Yorkshire' candidate, who is local and a nice chap - as well as being right (we are stronger economically than Scotland, I believe). This would reduce our M.P.'s majority, but he would still win - and the I.Y.P. chap would be encouraged ------ decisions, decisions :)

I have the same dilemma as jourdain, for exactly the same reasons, and since the Brexit party will no longer be fielding a candidate in my area, I either vote Conservative and get BRINO, or…or…or… not a clue.
Boris’s Brexit isn’t Brexit but I think the country is left with voting for the best of a bad bunch – and if it doesn’t the danger is a dangerous Corbyn-led – or a idiot Swinson-led government – or a combination of both. Boris is the only option.
I just think that all the ‘hard’ Brexit conservatives (ERG) have accepted this crap tweaked May deal too easily, and wanting to get Brexit done because “the people” are fed up with it, is a pathetic excuse. Yes, I’m fed up with it too, but I don’t feel that’s a reason to shrug my shoulders and think that it’ll do.
Having said that, I know a spoilt ballot paper is pointless, so yes, naomi, “I think the country is left with voting for the best of a bad bunch” is probably right.
Although I can’t help thinking if I do choose to put an X next to my Conservative candidates name, it’s going to make me feel very uneasy.
"if you want to remain in the EU do not vote for Boris."

You're ABSOLUTELY sure of that are you? :-)
