Well, Johnson certainly isn't.
M. Macron talks a good talk but at the end of the day he is President of one of the EU's principle supplicant states and knows on which side his bread is buttered. There is no way he will upset le chariot à pommes.
Macron's power and influence is demonstrated by the following:

He stated to Boris Johnson 10 days ago that the EU would decide at the end of the week whether a Brexit deal was going to be possible.

Still waiting, Manny.
He'll do what his wife says - or get detention!
Not knowingly or deliberately...the tail wags when its told to....
Actually I think by blocking Brexit they will speed up the UK end to actually do something.

We have the remainextremists in parliament who would go full tilt to force ‘something’ to be done. With only a couple of weeks to the 31st the only thing they could do that I can see is force a revocation of A50 somehow.

Without a revocation the only thing stopping Brexit on that date is the stuff they have already done re stopping no deal. But with no extension and no deal does their prior legislation count?

Anyway Macron isn’t the EU and he will allow an extension. It’s in their best interests to give one. More money, more time for remainextremists to get more legislation in.
'blocking Brexit' Did you mean blocking an extension to Brexit?

'.....the only thing stopping Brexit on that date is the stuff they have already done re stopping no deal' You're forgetting the Irish border issue. Again.
Using 'words' like remainextremists is puerile.
It is. The label is "remoaners".
Remainextremists are the ones in parliament doing all they can to do the extreme opposite of the referendum result. Therefore remainextremists is apt and it is no more puerile than any other name given to or by either remain or leave.
macron never, the eu want the coin that's all their interested in.extensions could go on forever
