I have ticked along reasonably well for nigh on 70 years.I reckon my school history lessons have served me well.I go so far as to say it encompasses a wider range of world history than your average student leaves school with today.
I am, at least aware, that Sir Winston Spencer Churchill was a great British Prime Minister and not a talking dog on the TV.
I do not believe we need a Black History Month any more than we need a white Protestant month.
If we keep having black slavery rammed down our throats will the ethnicity of the slave traders be discussed as well or the role of the Royal Navy Squadron who operated ships specifically to catch and impound slaver's ships and free the cargo?
