Whether we believe there is a climate change problem or not, would this be a step in the right direction anyway?

What do you think?

Sounds pretty positive on its own right.
Interesting Tigger, all small steps join together to help make strides.
It can do no harm so it's worth trying - but it won't solve the problem.
I don't think anyone expects it to solve the problem on its own, but it sounds like a step in the right direction.
Could work I suppose as long as the invasive Asian date mussel doesn't get to it first. This predator has been found recently in coastal regions in Southern UK particularly Southampton water. It destroys eel grass.Hope it leaves seagrass alone.
I agree with jim's first post. No need to sell it on the climate change banner - that often switches people off as there are plenty of other benefits.
yep I'm in Seagrass is the way forward.
just consulted my backroom team and they agree, seagrass is awesome but difficult to light.
Saw that earlier at the BBC site. Sounds great, unless there is a side effect we aren't privvy to. But if it died out because of pollution in the past, work needs to be done to ensure history doesn't repeat itself. Meanwhile, every little helps.
