Seems this one is looking for someone to blame and plod have copped it.
Totally ridiculous, Plod dont go out straight away looking since the vast majority turn up fine. Also they are not social workers so why show sympathy, they have to detach themselves from these things or they would go off their head.
But then, we pamper to this dont we, probably some compo in it somewhere.
Terrible shame for the poor girl though.

I'd suggest that this lady is grieving and looking for someone to blame for the loss of her children, so I think we should cut her a little slack for now.

Someone (Douglas Murray I think) made the observation that the demand for racists (and several other shibboleth groups) has been artificially inflated, while the supply has been gradually falling over the last five decades or so. Therefore you meet the extra demand by dumbing down the entry requirements to the shibboleth groups.
Extreme case: US. Any politician who advocates an immigration policy involving judgment about the suitability or value of an alien applying for residence is now a racist. By simple extension, anybody who votes for such a policy is a racist. Depending on future demand anybody with a lock on their front door is a racist.

Well, pretty well all Somali women are circumcised, so I guess she would have been back to Mogadishu at some time before puberty, or got it done locally.
It's obligatory, of course, under their school of Sharia (Shafi'i), unlike the other schools where it is merely "recommended", sometimes as a "courtesy to her husband".
AB's feminists and humanitarians (I know that there are lots of each on AB and that sometimes the two groups intersect) might care to think about that final quaint phrase: what kind of man would want his wife to undergo a physical operation which reduced her sexual pleasure?

The family is not assimilated and the father speaks English. The mum doesnt - and I think is ethiopean.
I guarantee there is no ethiopean (Amharic) speaker in GMP - apparently there is no one who speaks Arabic in Liverpool. Seems incredible -
and so they complained thro their lawyer ( Urdu I think and Fluent) that they hadnt been treated according to their expectations
But what were those expectations? it cdnt have been - "Ethiopean police were better" ( they arent).
so it must have been - "we werent treated with the same respect that we think bereaved families get in Manchester if they are white"
