Dunno. They obviously think a murder charge is appropriate and provable in court, so it must be.
I think the difference with conspiracy is there is intention to commit an offence but it doesn't happen. In this case, planned murders did result in deaths so a murder charge is appropriate for an accomplice.
Ludwig. I believe he is accused of making the detonators and helping with the procuring of substances used to make the bomb knowing what his brother intended to use them for.
GMP have had long enough to get the evidence sufficient to convince the Criminal Protection Service .....errr haven't they?

no the family have been stridulous (*) about assisting the police. hence the call of 'the little bustard is in prison in Libya' on the simple grounds they dont want to be sent back. and foo ! I dont blame them !
