I genuinely have no idea, Tora. But as I said above and as Brexit has proven, the complexities of politics can spew forth many schemes and unpredictable results.

danny, I'm fully aware of what happened when a no deal was put to the HoC and I'm pretty sure Hammond is. Which makes me conclude that they must have another 'cunning plan' formulating. Or....it could be just the BBC filling pixel space.

ZM no doubt they have got the chief cunning planner on the case. I can't see an obvious motion but no doubt when it comes to thwarting democracy Hammond and co will no doubt contrive something.

ZM: It seems the PM does have the power to prorogue parliament but I think that would be a mistake and unnecessary anyway. Never has doing Bu66er all been so attractive.

ZM, as the EU vehemently say that no deal other than May's is open for discussion the no deal is the only thing left.If we don't leave then the Tory Party is finished.
