Interesting to note that the Sun reported that
'One youth appeared to be armed with a long stick as troubled flared'
That so called youth was in fact a police officer.

pumpjack - // before i even read the article, i bet they were not white british youths. //

It appears from that observation, that you are willing to assume that the violence referred to can only have been caused by youths who are not British by birth, and are not white - based entirely on your ownb prejudice, and backed up by no evidence whatsoever.

// call me racist if you like but i say it how it is..i do not care about this pathetic label thrown out so much by pathetic liberals //

Thanks, I will call you racist, because that is what your post indicates that you are - and ironically, you do not 'say it how it is' at all - you offer an opinion on something about which you admit you know nothing at all, and the available evidence proves that you are wrong, so you are actually saying it how it isn't.

I am not a 'pathetic liberal', and the epithet 'racist' is not pathetic either, and certainly not something to be proud of, as you appear to be from your post on here.

You know it's illegal to be racist? It's not a word like "snowflake" it actually has rather a serious amount of gravity to it.

It is regarded as a hate crime and the 'fact you don't care' won't stop you from getting into trouble if you publicly share that view in the wrong place or at the wrong time.

No it isn't. No it doesn't.
Hope I don't get 'into trouble'. Lol.

Where has pumpjack ever suggested that? the poster only said white British youths, nothing at all about the attacking youths not being British by birth, that is only how you wanted to interpret it to suit yourself.

It is shown they were not White British youths, but Black youths some who may have be born British and some who may not have been, you don't know if they were all British born and neither do I, all your accusations against pumpjack are a figment of your prejudices and not that of pumpjack.
AOG, if you check the video again you will see that , in fact, there were white youths visible.
Stop making stuff up as you go along, spath.

It is for the law to consider if an act of racism or hate crime has been carried out, not for any lay person to accuse others of carrying out those crimes.

Surely that is slander if it is spoken or libel if written or published, also punishable by law.
Like pumpjack, I too suspected that the perpetrators weren't white British. Newham has the lowest percentage non-white residents in London - and it's the pits.

Of course they were, there was also white adults, wouldn't one expect to see shoppers gathering to see what was going off?

All those confronting the police appear to be Black.
My post at 14:55: should have read 'highest percentage' non-white British residents....

The bit about it being the pits was right though.
"It is for the law to consider if an act of racism or hate crime has been carried out, not for any lay person to accuse others of carrying out those crimes. "

That's the biggest load of tripe i've ever heard, AOG.

You'll find it is my right to consider what i deem is racism or a hate crime. Not the laws. The law, will then inspect and maybe act on my findings.

Do shift out of automatic, try put a gear into manual.

"Stop making stuff up as you go along, spath."

Just because you've said i've made stuff up, doesn't actually mean that i have.

Same as AOG, try get out of manual mode, shift up a gear.
For AOG... "Something is a racist or religious hate incident if the victim or anyone else thinks it was carried out because of hostility or prejudice based on race or religion."
^ How very Orwellian. ^
^That means anyone can claim anything is racist - even if it isn't. Something very wrong with that.
That^ to 15:14.
"^That means anyone can claim anything is racist - even if it isn't. Something very wrong with that."

No it doesn't in the slightest.
Naomi.. it can only be racist "if the victim or anyone else thinks it was carried out because of hostility or prejudice based on race or religion". And if they honestly feel that way, then it's probably racist or a hate crime, ay?
