The issue is.. The walrus use to sleep on the ice, make holes dive down get food go back to the ice. Now, they have to go here to sleep because there is no ice to sleep on. Yes this could force them to interact with polar bears, but the bears were not at all the reason for them falling. You think a walrus can climb down a 80 ft almost sheer drop cliff?

I haven't read all the thread yet, but I suspect the police have done the right thing in keeping things friendly and not winding people up. A peaceful protest is legal and I think they are they for safety. I appreciate it has caused a lot of disruption though.
