If they can't get rid of these morons, then it is time the army was sent in to rip up all the tents and other shelters and since it looks as if we are in for a few days of fine dry weather they should send in helicopters to spray water down on them, I bet that would soon disperse them.

How embarrassing.
That's a rather gentle way of dealing with disruptive protesters AOG.

Why not shoot them with rubber bullets, water canons and a tad of Novichok?
//Police have made nearly 400 arrests in London over the protests.//

They're a pain in the rear end. The Police shouldn't be indulging any of them.
Send in the tanks........ again

/// Extinction Rebellion, the Left-wing campaign group behind the demonstrations, has said its protests will escalate over two weeks if its demands are not met. ///

There is the answer it is a protected Left-Wing group, if it had been a Right-Wing group they wouldn't even had been allowed to carry out a protest.

It's not the first time that it has been made illegal for a Right-Wing group protest to take to the streets.

Where's Boris' water cannon when it's needed ?

There are not enough police cells to accommodate all those that have been arrested.
They've probably not spread them far enough across the country.
Don't Group 4 have some spare boats ?

Perhaps they should consider setting up a concentration camp on The Isle of Dogs?

Yes I know it is not a proper Isle, but it's description fits.
I heard a policeman being interviewed on the BBC Radio 4 programme at lunchtime yesterday. He talked through gritted teeth, clearly not a happy man, because of him and others being taken away from their usual job of dealing with knife crime etc, to police this lot. These people clearly don't care about that. A female doctor was the next interviewed who when asked how long she would be staying there protesting said as long as it takes. Lucky for her she can afford to not work while stopping others from doing so.
I love this web site. :o)
OG Borris,s water cannons sold at massive loss.

AOG any forceful intervention will not do anything other than raise their their profile.
Activists really aint worth the money and effort that's goin into em. Leave the cells for the real criminals.. the politicians rapists and murderers.
These are not activists. They're rent-a-mob anarchists.
A bit of anarchy is healthy now and again.

They are raising their profile day by day that they are allowed to protest, get them off the streets now.
: a concentration camp on the isle of dogs ;. Oh my God .
AOG i don't think you understand the point of a protest.
People have every right to protest. Everyone has a right to share their voice. However, not everyone has a right to glue emselfs to trains.
