The Remainiacs have managed to bring us to a point whereby we are in the pyramid scheme, without a voice on what they can impose or charge us for the privilege. Nice work from the fifth column traitors. I hope that they are looking over their shoulders, not unlike the despised orcs of fable.

// Officials “are already exploring legal ways to try to stop British participation on the grounds that the country may not be a member by the time the parliamentary term expires”, with so-called ‘centrist’ civil servants in Brussels preferring to see either the UK’s current batch of MEPs remain in place, or for Whitehall “to appoint temporary Euro-lawmakers reflecting the current party strengths in Britain’s House of Commons”.
“We could see a lot more people like [Nigel] Farage elected to the parliament,” one senior Eurocrat reportedly told VoA, adding that this would “risk emboldening populists across the bloc and upsetting efforts to try to restore stability and predictability in the face of rising nativism.”
Last month, the George Soros-backed European Council on Foreign Relations estimated populists could win up to a third of the Parliament’s seats after the vote in May, in a report warning that gains for pro-sovereignty forces could destroy the globalist project including mass third world migration, which it describes as a “pro-European” agenda.//
"Crikey, the Brexit bunch don’t half get excited when the chips are down, don’t they!"

Not all of them do.

We are just warming up Zacsssssss. The past 3 years was just a limbering up for the real head to head. Now to test the patience of the vacuous and previously assured. We are going to reassure them in whatever fashion it takes.

They have no fears on that score as far as the UK electorate is concerned. Turnout in the UK (and in most other countries) is notoriously low (which is unsurprising with the EU "Parliament" being about as worthy of the name as the Millwall Supporters Club). With at least half the country (and probably more) completely disenchanted with the ineptitude of their politicians they are hardly likely to tear themselves away from Eastenders to show their support for a bunch to represent them in a forum in which they have no interest whatsoever. I'd be surprised if the turnout reached 10%.

That’s far more the “EU Way”

Yes.

Would AB's greatest jurist explain the limits and competence of this elected body?

Compare and contrast English common law parliaments and its EU equivalent.
^That's what he told the EU a few days ago when he asked that an extension be denied. He said he doubts they want him back.
