Words Fail Me - Rape Verdict In Italy

In some parts of the world women are treated badly. It seems that Italy might be one of those places.

Even worse three female judges.. Such a betrayal.. Don't they realise plainer women are often targeted as they are seen as more likely to have accepted a less than ideal situation, because some scumbags think they are doing them a favour.... Also masculine women and lesbians are sometimes picked as victims especially in gang situations, the misguided belief is that they must needcock to be real women.

Everywhere can find they sometimes have judges who make bizarre judgements.

One can just hope that the reason highlighted in the article played an insignificant part in the judgment, and was simply a foolish thing to comment on.

There are SOME countries that dont. And yes it would appear Italy is one of them. But then they always have had a bit of an odd way of looking at things.

Bad comment though it was,there were several other reasons why the judges acquitted the Defendants.

The retrial may arrive at the same verdict.

Which is worse a partly misguided ruling that acquits or one which sees people who are wrongly convicted?

I seem to recall a rape case thrown out (Spain?) where the judge deemed it impossible to commit the offence in a Renault Clio as inside the back wasn't big enough!!
