How come black people say they're proud to be black but when someone else says they're black they take offence? If he's black he's black. What's to be offended about?

all languages have taboo words
( we have had this before you know but hey never mind - we have had the odd Brexit thread before and that doesnt stop anyone - no indeedy)

some words ending in -ie are taboo - chinky and packie and some arent
workie - postie - docky
some annoy nursey

I mean Jesus - or Jeezie get used to it and movey on !
Thank you for bringing my family into this and being downright rude regarding my upbringing. It was out of order and uncalled for. I am somewhat surprised it has been allowed to continue but regardless I will not be posting in any debate with you anymore, I am sure you won’t mind after all the likes of me deserve no respect.
RR, “the likes of you” is one of TTT’s most used and most hated phrases. It’s rude and unpleasant. I wish he wouldn’t use it.
Result aog !
Chuckle. :o)
Chortlesplutter even. :-)
Not really sure why you're surprised Rockrose, this thread is as predictable as they always are.
Motty is a great commentator... but I never knew that the player was a lesbian... Wow what a description... nice one Motty.
How childish hereIam and Naomi. Grow up!!
I’m chuckling at hereIam, ummmm. She often makes me chuckle. It’s called a sense of humour.
hIa @ 17.47 so funny. x
28...not that old.
Millwall player...a fair degree of talent needed then.
He's black.

Would... 'Young, Gifted & Black' be offensive?

To Tom or to whoever complained?

Tom , probably not.
Dear White people,

When I was born I was black, when I grew up I was black, when I'm sick I'm black, when I go out in the sun I'm black, when I'm cold I'll be black, and when I die I'll be black. But you, when you where born you were pink, when you grew up you were white, when you're sick you're green, when you go out in the sun you turn red, when you're cold you turn blue, and when you die you'll turn purple. And you have the nerve to call me coloured ?

Sincerely, black people.
Rockrose

/// AOG how would you feel being described Weak, White and
Wrong? ///

No that would be insulting, but coming from the likes of you, to be expected, but perhaps you do not not know the difference, so shall we just put the blame on your upbringing? //

In Rockrose's defence, I think he was simply making a debating point, as in asking your opinion if referred to as such - I do not believe he was actually aiming that phrase at you personally, so perhaps you may have overreacted a little?
Andy, TTT often uses the phrase “the likes of you” to put people down, and he was clearly using it in that way towards Rockrose.
Andy, I think TTT used that phrased against you one time, and you rightly took umbrage.
Clover - it was AOG.
...on this thread.
Sorry! I get them mixed up :/
