Krom it's not about impacting my life. It's about complete lack of honesty and the deluge of unprincipled, politically correct thinking that is imposed upon the population on a daily basis, drowning practically every aspect of society in a swirling sea of increasingly confused and wonky thinking. As long as the minority have their way everyone else can go take a hike. Their opinions aren’t relevant. In the case of women in particular, their gender may be hijacked – legally - by any man with a penchant for pretending to be what he’s not – and we’re all supposed to accept it without a word of protest. We shouldn’t object to men who pretend to be women being called ‘she’ (I’ve been told here that I’d get a slap if I dared refer to any as ‘he’); we shouldn’t object to the term ‘mother’’ being described as ‘’non gender specific’; we shouldn’t object to trans women using women’s toilets and other facilities especially designated to women, and we shouldn’t object when transgender people tell us we shouldn’t mind. They tell us it shouldn’t matter. Well, it if shouldn’t matter to real women why does it matter to fake women? Strangely it does.

Gender reassignment is considerably more involved than this. It required medical and psychological approval, 2 years (I think) of living as the target gender before surgery, and plenty more in order to obtain a GRC. Gender dysphoria is considerably more than men who fancy having a go at being a woman.
Nobody's forcing you to say or think anything. You're free to object to other people getting gender reassignment as much as you want. You're doing it right now. And they can get their change of gender recognised by the state if they wish and they meet the legal requirements. I'm not really sure what your objection is other than "I don't like it."
If you find gender reassignment objectionable, don't do it. If you find other people who do it objectionable... well... that's not really anyone else's problem.

And yet here you all are, objecting to it perfectly freely without any consequence. Just as do plenty of other people in the public eye. Your rights look very much intact to me.

The opinion expressed above seems to be that people shouldn't be allowed to change sex because it's "creepy" or "distasteful." If that isn't what you're saying then it's hard to see what the point of all these comments are, aside from having a dig at people who are different.

If people have the right to stand up and say “hey, I’m the opposite sex of what I was born as” then others have an equal right to say “no you’re not and I find it distasteful”.

Bigbad, frankenstein, science has made great strides, call mean old fool.. i get it, but this new thing stinks, intersex moresex, sexless, and all the other oddball im this now, mmm no your male or female, and no.. i will not change my aversion or nasty bias, let alone plague children with such thoughts, as do the lgbt or whatever they are called
