I very rarely comment there anymore because of the copy and paste responses I get to anything I post no matter what it is, laden with 'EUSSR', 'TROB', 'TROP', 'LEFTIES','DO-GOODERS', 'YOGURT-KNITTERS'. 'TREE-HUGGERS''TRAITORS','DEMOCRACY HATERS', 'REMOANERS' etc etc etc.
If someone wants to argue their case forcefully but politely and intelligently then great but just slinging around insults and not bothering to think out a valid argument is just boring, lazy, tedious and off putting. THAT's why News is quiet, people are sick of it.

My guess it’s because it’s Christmas and there isn’t a lot happening.
And aog not here and I do hope he is ok.
So I’ll just wish all a happy Christmas instead.
Its Christmas, parliament is in recess, and barring natural disasters and missing Abers, (thinking of you AOG) there is very little news.

"Merry Christmas"
